Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Hospital on Saturday, November 12th, 2011, aged 55 years. Predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Nolan, brothers: Kevin and David Nolan. Leaving to mourn with fond memories, her special son Jake Humphries; sister Eileen Kavanagh (Danny), Flatrock; brothers: Brian Nolan (Geraldine), Deer Lake, Ed Nolan (Patsy), Bonavista, Jack Nolan (Bonnie), Duntara, Jim Nolan (Donna) ,Torbay, Wayne Nolan (Mary), Holyrood, Dave Nolan (Tina), St. John’s, sister-in-law Lorraine Nolan, Duntara and a large circle of nieces and nephews. A thank you to Joan’s special friend Carol Ann, who helped us during this difficult time and to all of Joan’s friends and colleagues at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home where she worked for 36 years. Resting at the Chapel in St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Elizabeth Avenue. Visitation on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, November 15th at 2 p.m. from St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. Interment service to take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Joan’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
