The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home, Charlottetown, on November 13, 2011, of Dottie Doyle, beloved wife of the late Tom Doyle, of North Rustico and formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, age 85.
Dottie was the loving mother of Mike, Elaine DeBlois (Rob), Kelly (Katsue Masuda), John, and Kenny (Mary Jane Ready); devoted grandmother of Ramona Thompson (Kent) and Louise Doyle (Joel Waddell); Elizabeth (Rob Lawlor) and Bill DeBlois; Miranda (Jesse Fuhrman) and Natasha Gerberding; Baron Doyle; Christopher and Matthew Doyle; and Logan and Siobhan Doyle; and great-grandmother of Arlo, Hazel, Cameron and Katerina. She is also survived by special nieces, Paula and Barbara, and numerous other nieces and nephews across the U.S. Besides her husband, Tom, Dottie was predeceased by her precious daughter, Cathy.
Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
