Cox, Addie S., Truro – On October 31, 2009, Addie S. Cox, wife of the late Raymond Earle Cox, passed away peacefully in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro with her family at her side. Born on April 17, 1924 in Hadleyville, Addie was a daughter of the late Alvin Hadley and Laura Hadley Grant. She is survived by daughters, Elaine Taylor (Brian), Calgary; Debra Fulton (Stephen), Truro; sisters, Lillian Smith, Cape Cod; Margaret England and Barbara Delorey, both of Mulgrave; grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsay and Kelsi Roode, Brian, Richard and Kristy Fulton; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Helen; brothers, John Hadley, Willard Grant, Calvin Grant. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by Addie’s request. A private family graveside service will be held in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in Addie’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
