It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ella Mary Billard of Port au Choix, NL, announce her passing on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 95 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Annette (Garth), Lewis (Bride), Dora, René (Sheila), Vincent (Kay), Percy (Iona), Clarence (Lizeta) and Lorrie (Bradea); grandchildren Jim, John, Paul, Lewis, Sonya, Angie, Delisa, Gale, Blair, Pam, Todd, Corey, Ryan, Lori-Lyn, Jennifer, Boyd, Jackie, Raymond and Lisa; great-grandchildren Megan, Faith, Caleb, Cody, Nathan, Aiden, Matthew, Ella, Adam, Robyn, Jaret, Grace, Adrianna, Jordan, Beau, Bryan, Aren, Sarah, Ashlyn, Jillian, Jaydon, Keithon and Dylan; great-great-grandchildren Ava and Aryanna, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Pius, daughters Peggy and Bertha (husband Clar Wade), grandchildren Coral, Christopher, Brandon and Dustin. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral service took place on Friday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church in Port au Choix with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
