ARSENAULT, LOUIS "LEO" J. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louis “Leo” J. Arsenault, 71, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Sunday November 13, 2011. Born in Saint John, he was the son of Emilie (Arsenault) Fougere of Grande-Digue. Leo worked in the construction industry and was a member of the CNIB and the Moncton Dart Club. Leo will be sadly missed by his wife of 48 years, Roselda (Williams) Arsenault; his three children, Shirley Arsenault (Frank Vautour), David Arsenault and Lisa Arsenault; two grandchildren, Andy and Chelsea, all of Moncton; stepbrothers, Maurice Fougere (Anise) of Grand-Digue; Francis Fougere (Ginette) of Cocagne; Donald Fougere (Corinne) of Tennessee; stepsister, Marie Dorice (Ron) of Florida; sister-in-law, Claudette of Grand-Digue. Leo was predeceased by his stepfather, Leandre Fougere; stepbrothers, Jean Paul Fougere and Vincent Fougere; son-in-law, Trevor Lewis.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday November 19, 2011, 11:00 am, Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Adamsville.
