It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jean Rumbolt announce her sudden passing at her home at the age of 72. She leaves to mourn her daughter Carolyn Tavenor, son-in-law Tony, and grandchildren Joshua and Charlotte. She also leaves her twin sister, Joan Warnock (Iowa), sister Pauline Hall (Toronto), brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph Rumbolt (Peg), Margaret Boljkovac (George), Evelyn Rumbolt, Mary Madore, Bro. Ron Rumbolt (Welland, ON), nieces, nephews and a wide circle of cherished friends and neighbors. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved dog Jessie. Jean was predeceased by her husband Sidney Rumbolt Jr., parents Thomas and Mary Hall, sisters and brothers: Stephen, Ona, Lorna, Janice, and Tom, niece Jeannie, grand niece Robyn and parents-in-law Sidney and Matilda Rumbolt and brother-in-law Doug Madore. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 6 at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, the Shepherds Fund or the Bay of Islands SPCA.
