Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Predeceased by parents Robert and Maple (Tucker); sister Lorraine Howell. Leaving to mourn loving wife Eleanor (nee Howell); daughters Donna Earle and Marilyn Chafe; son Paul (Elizabeth); five grandchildren Tim, Jane and Susan Earle; Heidi and Justin Chafe; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at William’s request. Private interment to take place at a later date. Donations in William’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
