KENNEDY, James M. (June 1, 1934 – November 18th, 2011) — James M. Kennedy passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness. James Kennedy of Bay Bulls aged 77. Gone into the arms of his loving wife, Shirley who predeceased him in April 2007 also predeceased by two grandsons: Jeffery and Aiden O’Driscoll, daughter in law Lillian Kennedy and sister in law Helen Kennedy. Leaving with treasured memories his ten children, Ann Chidley (Gerard), Theresa O’Driscoll (Albert), Bobby (Catherine), Donna Carey (Paddy), Irene Hutchings (Loyola), Jimmy (Deja), Michael (Margie), David (Penny), Ricky (Kay), Wade (Karen), twenty grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brothers who were his best friends: John (Win), Gerald (Jean), Bert and his loving sister Maureen Bourne (Hubert) and their families also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, on Saturday, November 19th from 4-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 20th from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place from Sts. Peter and Paul R.C. Church on Monday, November 21 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta R.C. Cemetery, Bay Bulls. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center or Ronald McDonald House.
