Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois, Delores Battersby (nee Grouchy), age 61. Formerly of St. John’s, but residing in Addison, Illinois for the past 40 years. Leaving to mourn her devoted husband Tom; children Andrea (Bob), Philip (Danielle); grandchildren Jessica, Megan and Sarah; great-grandchild Jeremy; sister Mary (Bob) Tonnesen, all of Addison, Illinois; Philip (Nancy) Grouchy, St. John’s; Bernadette (Tom) Anstey, Kenny’s Pond; Patsy (Clarence) Hynes, St. John’s; Ted (Winnie) Grouchy, Torbay and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Addison, Illinois, Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Interment to follow.
