Passed peacefully away on November 20, 2011, at the Lions Manor Seniors Complex, Placentia, David John McCarthy, age 89 years. Predeceased by his first wife, Philomena Lynch and son Shawn. Leaving with fond loving memories his wife Pearl, sons Gary (Floss), Labrador City; Gerard (Rita), St. John's; Phillip, Bellevue Beach; daughters Bernadette Fahey (Ken), Bellevue; Maureen Pike (Alistair), Labrador City; Sharon Woodford (Gerald), Labrador City; step-sons Don Smith (Lorraine), Kelligrews; Anthony McCarthy, Bellevue; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews and a large number of relatives and friends.
