Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Olive Shields, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband Jim and brother Gordon Noseworthy. Left with loving memories children Douglas (Beth), Heather (Art) and Roger (Valerie); grandsons Robert (Michelle) and Christopher (Mary-Ann) Shields, James (Melanie), Paul (Megan) and Richard (Jennifer) Meaney; Todd and Jesse Shields; and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Ellie, William, Matthew, Alexander, Lydia and June; cousins, Frank Kelly (Janet) and Florence Linegar (Derm) and their families and also many friends. Sincere thanks to her special caregivers at Tiffany Village. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor.
