Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Monday, November 21, 2011, William Stagg of Bonavista aged 76. He was predeceased by his parents William and Rhoda Stagg and brothers Bert (Edie) and Herbert (Marion) Hart, and niece Jessie (Dave) Carey. Left with fond and loving memories are nephews Lloyd (Cynthia) Hart, George (Dolly) Hart, Terry (Diane) Hart and niece Grace (Paul) O’Reilly, and special friends Ralph and Ella Fifield, as well as a large circle of friends. Resting at Strathie's Funeral Home in Bonavista on Tuesday, November 22, from 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Christ Church in Bonavista on Wednesday, November 23 at 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in Bill’s memory to a charity of choice.
