ROWEN, GERTRUDE (TRUDY ) - Gertrude (Trudy) Rowen, dearly loved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2011 at Royal Court, Monarch Hall, Riverview. Born in Newfoundland on March 4, 1914, Trudy was the daughter of Egla and Edward Perry. She was predeceased by her brothers Eddie, Baxter, Wilf and Sam and sisters Dorothy and June. She was also predeceased by her first husband Clifford Scott in 1975 and her second husband Robert Rowen in 1998, daughter Gwen and son-in-law George Rumsey (Toronto), son Stanley (Joan) Chiliwack B.C. and daughter-in-law Patricia (Michael) North Vancouver. She is survived by, and will be greatly missed by her daughter Ruth Furze (Walter) Parlee Beach and son Michael Scott (North Vancouver), 14 grandchildren, who all dearly loved her, 22 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Trudy lived her life in Montreal, Bromont, Moncton and Lakeland, Florida and will be remembered for her kindness and caring.
A private family memorial service will be held in Montreal at a later date.
