A life-time member of the Knights of Columbus (Terra Nova Council), passed away suddenly at the Health Sciences Complex on November 3, 2009, Charles Ridgeley, aged 74 years. Predeceased by parents Edward and Mary Ann. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 52 years Dorothy (nee Reid); children: Joseph, Edna Stead (Fred) and Sean (Mary); grandchildren: Sarah, Charles, Stephen and Haley; sister Gertie Taylor; sisters-in-law: Phoebe Thorne (Eric), Doreen Branton, Edna Thorne and Elma Ridgeley; brothers-in-law: William Reid, Garfield Reid (Verlie), Elridge Thorne (Marjorie) and Gary Thorne (Florie); very special niece Barbara Lawlor (Joe); as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, November 4th from 1 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, November 5th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cremation will follow visitation. Funeral service will take place from St. Teresa’s Parish on Friday, November 6th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
