Mildred peacefully passed away at Golden Years Nursing Home in her 91st year on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011.
Formerly of Sydney Mines, N.S., also a resident of Glace Bay, N.S., up until 1964 when she moved to Toronto.
Predeceased by husband, Ronald (1944), son, Ronald (1971) and daughter, Sheila (1941).
Sadly missed by daughter, Shirley (Ernie 2001) Kublek. Proud Nana of Kim (Dave) Vere (nee Kublek), Ernie (Sue) Kublek; great-grandchildren Josh and Erin. Survived by sister, Margaret Jeffries and sister-in-law, Marie MacNeil, Sydney, N.S.; and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by parents, Thomas Jeffries and Josephine Walsh, three brothers, Thomas, Joseph and Mickey, four sisters, Agnes, Lily, Winnie, Rose and many other loved ones.
Forever remembered by family friend, Bea (Charlie 2003) Kublek.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (519-653-3251). A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.

A special thank you to the caring staff at Golden Years Nursing Home, especially to Jolene, Mary, Joanne and Nicole, for all your love and support. Millie appreciated your companionship in the short time she spent in your care.
