We, the family of the late William Poirier, wish to express our most sincere gratitude to all those who shared in our recent loss. Thanks to all who attended the wake, the funeral, who called and visited our homes and brought so much food. Thank you to those who sent flowers, mass cards, sympathy cards and donations in memory of Willie, we are truly grateful for your thoughtful acts of kindness and shared memories. Thanks to Father Doug MacDonald for celebrating Willie\'s funeral mass and to the choir and organist of St. Leonard\'s parish. Thank you to the pallbearers, Eric, Marty, Tony, Robert, Roger and John. The servers, Eucharistic ministers, readers, Leona MacNeil (friend), Martin McCarthy (son-in-law) and the Carmel Centre for providing a lovely lunch at the reception. A very special thank you to the staff on 4D of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for three weeks of constant care and support. Thank you to the staff in palliative care for the two days of comfort and compassion. Thank you to McGillivray\'s Funeral Home in New Waterford for their kindness and support. A special thanks to everyone who traveled for away to share in our tears and laughter. Thank you for the many stories you shared with us, you will always be remembered. God Bless You.
