ANDERSON’S MOUNTAIN – Lillian Margaret Wilson, age 92, of the Glen Haven Manor, and formerly of Anderson’s Mountain (Wilson’s Hill), passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 in the Manor.
Born in Fraser’s Mountain, she was a daughter of the late William Fletcher and Maryann “Minnie” (Germain) Grant.
She was a dedicated homemaker who looked after her mother and brother along with her own family. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow and a former member of the Little Harbour Community Centre.
She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Murray, Lunenburg; sons, Roy Grant Wilson, John Campbell Wilson, both of Anderson’s Mountain.
She was predeceased by her husband James Wilson; sisters, Olive Hunter and Edna Horne; brothers, Fletcher Grant and William “Bill” Grant.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Burial will be in Church Brook Cemetery.
