It is with sadness that the family of the late Ronald Joseph Cook announce his passing at his home in Bishop’s Falls on November 23, 2011, at the age of 80 years. Ronald was a member of the Roman Catholic Church in Bishop’s Falls. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Elsie; sons Gerry of Flowers Cove, NL, Ron (Rosie) of Mount Pearl, NL, Bernard (Dean) of Deep Bight, NL, Lloyd of Edmonton, AB; daughters, Judy(Pauline) of St. John’s, NL, Christine (Joe) of Goulds, NL, and Loalie (Lloyd) of Wabush, NL. Also leaving to mourn one sister, Eileen King, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Father Morris will conduct the Funeral Mass from the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop’s Falls on November 26, 2011. Interment will be at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers are Trevor Cook, Jamie Cook, Bernard Cook, Andy Thorne, Ron Penney, and Jim Dalton. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
