A Tribute to Doug Bailey Jr.
January 25, 1927 – November 22, 2011
An Angel’s breath
has rested over Doug’s soul today.
He again strolls
hand in hand
with Dorothy,
through eternity and beyond.
The flash of a mortal lifetime fades
as he takes his place
with those who have waited to greet him
for a new freedom
without care or pain.
I’ll see you someday
as I await your warm hand
to draw me upward
into God’s Grace.
David Bailey
