At the Dartmouth General Hospital, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, of Kathleen Jessie MacLean (nee Ramsay) of Dartmouth N.S, formerly of Bideford P.E.I., aged 86 year, wife of the late Russel L. MacLean. Born in Northam on Feb. 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Russell and Devona (Birch) Ramsay. Cherished mother of Paul (Gail); Marion (Garth) MacGougan; Marlene (Walter) Palmer; all of Dartmouth, N.S., and Kenneth (Sandy) Hall Chelmsford Mass. Loving grandmother of Colin Palmer, Andrew Palmer, Rodney Palmer, Penny (Jason) Rennie, Nathan MacGougan, Malcom MacGougan, Amanda (Doug) Mosher, Ryan MacLean, Christopher (Susan) Hall and Michele (Thomas) Anderson. Great grandmother to Keiran, Kacee, Haillie, Leah, Jacob, Abigail, Evan, Kyle, Matthew, and Michael. Sister-in-law of Dorothy MacLean, Elga Ramsay, and Bernice Ramsay, all of Summerside. Predeceased by her sons, Paul Edward, in infancy; and twins David and Kevin in infancy, as well as brothers and sisters; Edna, Maude, Alger, George, Ray, Ernest and Rita. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel, with visiting hours Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008; 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Funeral in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Lot 14 United Church Cemetery.
