Andrea Burke (nee Neider)
August 30, 1960 – November 3, 2009
After a long and courageous battle with MS., Andrea Burke of Prince Albert passed away suddenly on November 3rd, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital. Andrea was a beautiful and gifted person who touched the lives of many in her short life. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, to whom Granny was very special. Andrea was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend. She was a very spiritual person, who stayed positive for the sake of her family throughout all of the challenges that life brought her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all that were lucky enough to have known her. Andrea is survived by her loving husband Bob Burke of Prince Albert; her children Aaron (Carmen) Engel of Prince Albert and their children Alexis and Bodhi, Megan Engel of Prince Albert, Michelle Burke of Harrison Hot Springs, BC and Bobby Burke of Prince Albert and his daughter Serenity; her parents Al and Verdelle Neider of Weldon; her siblings Daverna (Hank) Franklin of Cremona, AB, David (Karen) Neider of Melfort and Jennifer Neider and her children Garrett and Teaghan of Cold Lake, AB and her sister-in-law Eileen (Lloyd) Sleen of Leduc, AB. Andrea is also survived by the father of her children and friend Joe Engel of Surrey, BC. Andrea will be joining her grandparents Velma and Arthur Graves and Therese Neider. At the request of Andrea, the family will hold a private memorial. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
