CRANFORD, Shirley M. – October 3rd, 1934 – November 24, 2011. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday, November 24, 2011, Shirley Cranford of Green’s Harbour. Predeceased by father Cecil and mother Jane, step-father Charles, brothers Wallace, Lawrence, Orville and sister Beulah. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are: husband Max Jr.; three sons and three daughters: Leroi (Gloria), Michael (Linda), Maxine, Maxwell (Charlene), Patty (Dale) and Eileen; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by brothers: Henry (Edna), Norman (Alma), Calvin (Betty); sisters: Ruby and Cora (Harry), a large number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Sunday, November 27th from 2:00-9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held from Faith United Church, Green’s Harbour on Monday, November 28th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow, Faith United Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
