We, the family of the late Bernadette Farrell would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the kindness and support shown throughout Bernadette’s sickness and passing. To all our relatives, friends, her home care worker Rhonda Nash, her V.O.N. Anne Kuta, Sr. Silvia Bellefontaine, her friends at Valleyview Complex and her life time friend, Shirley Traboulsee, who has been with us all the way and helped ease our sorrow, Thank You. We are truly grateful to everyone who attended the funeral, phoned, sent food, Mass and sympathy cards, enrollments, donations to palliative care, Cancer Society and the Glace Bay Hospital. A special thank you to Rev. Leo Boone for his comforting words about Bernadette, the choir, the C.W.L. for their presence and organizing a delicious luncheon. To the readers Linda Mac Kay and Khristina Douglas, pallbearers Leo Farrell, Kevin Farrell, Jeff Douglas, Daniel Sullivan, honorary pallbearers Shirley Traboulsee, Judy McIntyre, Sadie McNeil and Betty Harvey, our sincere thanks. We would be remiss if we didn’t thank Dr. Sonia Fairfield, Dr. Rose MacKay, Dr. Dugas and Laurie Mortimer of palliative care along with the staff of 3rd south and west at the Glace Bay General Hospital for helping Bernadette through a very difficult time. Finally to Joe Curry and staff for their caring and compassion, we are truly grateful.
