March 7, 1926 - November 5, 2009

Kathleen Ellen Hill (nee Wood) of Victoria, BC, was gathered up by the angels to go to her heavenly Father on November 5, 2009.

Predeceased by her loving husband Rowland (Bob) Kent Hill.

Kathleen leaves behind their daughters Charon Louise, Kathleen Ruth, and sons Terrance Paul, Timothy Frederick, and Rowland (Xane St. Phillip), as well as many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and great grandchildren. She also leaves behind sisters Dorothy, Shirley, and brother Albert.

Kathleen was born in North Bend, BC, and moved to Kamloops where she met and married Bob. They had a wonderful life and family together with many great times and fond memories. She was always very active in her church community, teaching Sunday School and helping in many capacities. Her love of Christ was clearly demonstrated in all of her actions and expressions of life. A very gifted artist, she inspired her children in many ways. She will lovingly be missed by all of her family who take great comfort in knowing she is with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whom she has waited to see all of her life. A good and faithful servant, she will remain in the hearts of those she loved so dearly. Special thanks to the wonderful nurses on the 6th Floor, Victoria General Hospital who made this time so precious for Kathleen and her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to C.A.R.T.S. Street Outreach Ministry care of Kamloops Funeral Home, Kathleen's favourite charity assisting people in homelessness and poverty circumstances.

Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m on Monday, November 9, 2009 at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
