Bayne Dorothy Marjetti of Howie Centre passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care unit. She was 75.
Born in Sydney, Oct. 22, 1936, Bayne was the youngest daughter of the late Cecil and Ada Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Marjetti; daughters, Karen (Karen Roach of Westmount), Susan, Toronto; brothers, John and Jamie of Halifax and Dartmouth; as well as her sister, Marjorie (MacLean) and five brothers, Andy, Richard, Ross, Clarie and Kent.
She was predeceased by a brother, Hallie.
In lieu of a funeral or memorial, the family asks that you remember her, in your own way, for the incredible woman she was; a gentle spirit, with a quick smile, and a great sense of humour. Bayne was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend.
In lieu of flowers, condolences can be offered through donations to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital palliative care unit, or the Alzheimer's Society in memory of Bayne Marjetti.
