It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Robert Brake announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday November 28, 2011 at the age of 74 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 53 years Mary (nee Keough), children Dale, Carolyn (Brain Beck), one precious granddaughter Katie, brothers: John (Hanna), Roy (Verna), Jerry (Mary), sisters: Violet, Alma (Phil O’Keefe), Linda (Bill Quehe), Maxine (Leo Park), aunts: Nonie Porter and Myrtis Hoffman, sisters-in-law: Eileen (Frank Hynes), Margaret (Bill Steszyn), Linda (Henry Payne), Jocelyn (Cornelius House), Shelia (Joe), brothers-in-law Jerry (Edith), Rufus (Shirley), Ross (Elizabeth), Clarence (Patsy), also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is predeceased by parents Elizabeth and William Brake and parents-in-law Pearl and William Keough. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday November 30, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday December 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Parish in Curling with Father Edmund Camacho officiating. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
