MCRAE: Erma Marlene, age 67 of Watrus, SK passed away October 28, 2009 at Watrus Hospital with family and friend by her side. The Graveside service was held at 1:00 PM, November 6, 2009 from Pennant Cemetery with Corola Anderson officiating. The pallbearers were her nephews; Daniel Plewis, Dale Plewis, Reiny Plewis, Darwin Plewis, Lance Plewis and Leslie Shaw. Erma is survivied by her brother, Keith (May) Plewis; sister, Edna (Gerald) Shaw; sister-in-laws, Darlene Plewis and Edna (Eddie) Plewis; aunt Vivian Ellerman; step daughters Karen (Brian) Carleton and family and Laura (Glen) Gerlitz and family; as well as many nieces and nephews and a friend John Fidyk. She is predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Stella Plewis, husband Dave McRae and brothers Larry, Norman and Kenneth Plewis. Erma was born in Cabri, SK on March 11, 1942. She attended school at Ohioville and Pennant Schools. Erma was a member of Royal Purple and Kenossee Senior Club. She loved music, had many hobbies, was a perfect seamstress and lastly enjoyed her time spent at Manatou Spa.
