Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit on November 27, 2011, Clara Squires (nee Tucker) of St. Philips, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her first husband, Eddie Clarke; daughter, Gloria Clarke; her second husband, Stephen and their two sons: Wayne and Garry Squires. Leaving with fond and precious memories son, Carl (Sandra) Squires; daughter, Faye (Jeff) Williams; daughter-in-law, Judy Squires; brother, Richard (Annie) Tucker; step-sisters: Phobe (Alex) Harding and Sadie Rose; seven grandchildren whom she adored: Christopher, Sara-Jane, Cherrie, Tracey, Kerry-Lynn, Kimberly and Stephen. Also leaving three cherished great-grandchildren: Tyler, Majda and Carl, special friends: Shirley Tucker; the Fifty Plus Club along with a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank Rev. Ed Keeping for his friendship and guidance and to The Palliative Care Unit for the extra ordinary care shown to Mom. Visitation will take place at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Thursday 10 - 12 noon. Funeral service will take place at St. Philip's Anglican Church on Thursday December 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, St. Philip's.
