The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, of Everett "Bond" Elliott, of Julia's Court, Summerside, aged 81 years. Born in Hampton, N.L., he was the son of the late Carl and Norah (Burt) Elliott. Survived by his wife, Edith (Penny) Elliott; children, Douglas Elliott, Thompson, Man., Lloyd (Juta) Elliott, Surrey, B.C., Joyce (Lonnie) Kean, Summerside; Ryden "Roy" Elliott, Medicine Hat, Alta., Judy (Andrew) Elliott, Cold Lake, Alta., Hedley (Terri) Elliott, Medicine Hat, Alta., and Dianna (Peter) Jeans, Ottawa ,Ont.; by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Yvonne Walsh, Pasadena, N.L.; a brother Rev. Boyce Elliott, Oshawa, Ont., and by a cousin, Bill (Ruth) Thompson, Summerside. Predeceased by a daughter, Yvonne Elliott, brothers, Prescott and Bruce Elliott, and by a son-in-law, John Gear. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will take place later in Newfoundland. No visiting hours by personal request.
