It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Ellen Way of Savage Cove, NL, announces her passing on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Hank, residing at Northern Retirement Home in Port Saunders; daughter Leona (Clifford) Coombs, Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia; granddaughter Medina (Toma) Genge; great-grandson Kyus Earl Samuel; brother Harold Mugford; sisters Marina (Albert) Applin, and Naomi (Curtis) Mitchelmore, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Earl, parents Sarah and Anthony Mugford, and brother George. The family received friends at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Savage Cove on Sunday evening and Monday from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Savage Cove. Flowers were graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
