Passed away suddenly November 28, 2011, William Whelan of Conception Harbour, Age 79 years. Predeceased by his son Ted, grandson T.J Whelan and granddaughter Gaylene McDonald. Left to mourn his wife Geraldine of 57 years; seven sons: Bill (Rose), Ig (Bev), Derrick (Margo), Tony (Sharon), Shaun (Sandy), Duane, and Rodney (Gladyse); three daughters: Laura (Gordon), Tammy (George) and Tonia (John); also fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Conway’s Funeral Home, Conception Harbour. Private viewing for family only. Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, December 1 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Colliers. Cremation to follow.
