The death occurred at the South Shore Villa on Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, of Florence Edith Francis (nee Cameron) of Crapaud, formerly of Lady Fane, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John Francis. Dear mother of Lloyd (Angela) Francis, Prince George, B.C., David (Vicki) Francis, Lady Fane, Ann (Erroll) Affleck, Marshfield, and daughter-in-law, Beryl Francis, Prince George, B.C. Loving grandmother of Parker (Kristie), Mary Lee (Lerry), John (Katie), Lindsay (Aaron), Jessica (Steve), Chelsea (Paul), Brett, Mallory, Cameron and John Bruce. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Braedon, Ella and Luke. Also surviced by her brother, Dr. Sheldon (Isabel) Cameron. Predeceased by her parents, William and Bessie Cameron, son, Howard Francis, and brothers, Donald and Lloyd Cameron. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud. No visitation by request. A private funeral service will be held from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the A.L.S. Society or a charity of choice.
