Passed suddenly away on the steps of his shop on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, Wm. Junior Loveys of Small Point, age 61 years. Junior was the proud owner of J & L Convenience Ltd., Small Point. Predeceased by parents: William and Mildred; brother-in-law: Evert den Boer. Left to mourn, wife of 39 years: Jean; daughter: Lorie (Brian) Dinn, Paradise; granddaughter “Poppy’s Fairy”: Delaney; three brothers: Winslow (Gen), Carbonear, Wade (Sharon), Gull Island and Barry, St. John’s; sister: Marion (Merv) Tobin, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Selma den Boer, Small Point; employees of J & L Convenience: Judy Peach, Stephanie Crummey and Lori King; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Rev. Roscoe Cole conducted the funeral service on Sunday, December 4 at Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Tuesday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
