John William Mills - 78, of Kentville, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Shannex Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Eddie and Agnes (Murray) Mills. He had been employed for 34 years with Beneficial Finance, retiring as Branch Manager in Kentville. He also owned and operated K&P Handyland, Kentville for 15 years. He was also a member of the Traveller’s Club, Kentville. He is survived by his wife, the former Marilyn Cahill; two daughters, Kim Moore, Cornwall and Pamela Mills, Toronto; a sister, Marion Blandford, New Glasgow; three grandchildren, Ryan, Tracy and Lauren. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation or funeral service, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
