Curtis Moore
MOORE, CURTIS - On Friday, December 2, 2011 Curtis Mac Moore made his final run into home. A Marysville boy and baseball man his whole life, he would happily sit for hours, smiling and reminiscing about games he’d played and the great ballplayers he had the honor to play beside. Curt was a member of the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, and enjoyed his time hunting and fishing at “the camp” in Salmon River. Curtis was truly a person who enjoyed life, and spending his time with his family and friends. Curt was the husband of the late Dorothy (Legere) Moore. Born on October 10, 1920 in Marysville, NB, he was the son of the late Roy and Beatrice (Boyce) Moore. Curt is survived by his daughter Donna Goguen (Victor, Nicole and Stacey) sons, Randy Moore (Leigh, Tara and Tammy) and Troy Moore (Joanne, Riley and Carley) as well as daughter Brenda McLaughlin of Grand Manan. Curt leaves great memories for his loving group great grandchildren and his special extended family, the Clarks (Barbara, Victor, Lonnie, Rod, Michael and Angie). Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sisters, Annie Allen, Ruth Laws, Lena White and Muriel Howland; his infant brother, Dowe and brother, Basil.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Crosspoint Wesleyan Church on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Conard Symonds officiating. Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.
