66 years, Riverview, N.B., passed away peacefully, in the Moncton Hospital on November 7, 2009.
Frankie was born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., the daughter of Ellen and the late Francis J. MacDonald. She graduated from the Charlottetown Hospital School of Nursing in 1964 and nursed on the Island prior to moving to Riverview. Frankie was prolific and skilled in knitting and crocheting and was dedicated to her craft.
She will be missed by her loving husband, Don Doran; daughters, Sherri (Warren Fowler), Moncton; Alana (Adam Lanigan), New Jersey; mother, Ellen, South Shore Villa, Crapaud, P.E.I.; brother, Keith (Jane), St. John's, Newfoundland. She will also be missed by other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Francis J. (Frank) (1999).
Private family visitation will take place at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview, N.B. (506-869-2007).
The funeral mass will take place at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Riverview, on Thursday, November 12, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Alderwood Cemetery.
