It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernard Thomas Young announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit in the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on December 3, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Chloe Young, children Rick (Leanne) Young of Goose Bay, NL, Kelly Young (Darren Wheeler) of LethBridge, AB, Tyson Wilkins of Ottawa, ON, Sabrina Humber (Lorne Hoskins) of Stephenville, NL, and grandkids Chad Young, Adam Young, Allysia, Christopher, and Christian Hoskins, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by daughter Cindy, parents Albert & Josephine Young, Sister Gladys Welsh, brothers Adolphus Young, Howard Young, Richard Young, and Calis Young. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday December 7, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and on Thursday December 8, 2011 from 10-12 A.M… Funeral service will take place on Thursday December 8, 2011 from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2 P.M., with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands S.P.C.A.
