Oliva Vautour
VAUTOUR, OLIVA (NéE DOIRON) (1935-2011) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Oliva Vautour 76, of St. Louis de Kent (formerly of Acadieville, NB) passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton on Monday, December 5th, 2011. Born in Acadieville, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and late Delia (Bastarache) Doiron. Before retiring, Oliva worked for 36 years for Connors Brother's, Black's Harbour, NB. She attended the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville. Oliva will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Dianne (Claudio) of Aldouane, Maxine (Lorainne) of Saint John, Bernice (Fred) of Black's Harbour, Sharon of Moncton, three sons; Yvon (Muriel) of Miramichi, Allan (Judy) of Moncton, Glen (Trish) of Saint John, two step daughters; Evelyne (Jean-Louis) of Kent Junction, Stella (Bernie) of Miramichi, two step sons; Joe (Marie) of Kent Junction, Ernest (Beatrice) of Kent Junction, twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters; Viola (Emile) of Acadieville, Georgina (Armand) of Montreal, Quebec, two brothers; Yvon (Annie) of Black's Harbour, Laurenzo (Therese) of Acadieville and several nieces and nephews. Oliva was predeceased by her husband; Frank Vautour (2000), one son; Joseph and three brothers; Alonzo, Rodoulphe, Henri and special friend; Arthur LeBlanc.
Oliva will be resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Thursday at noon until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 8th, 2011 at 2:00 pm, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Acadieville. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the New Brunswick Lung Association would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
