NELSON-BEAUMONT, BEULAH L. (STEEVES) - 1921-2011 - Beulah L. Beaumont, 90, of Forest Dale Home formerly of Edgett's Landing passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 4th, 2011 at her residence. Beulah was born in Edgett's Landing on April 27th, 1921 the daughter of the late Harry and Zora Steeves. She was a member of the Valley Baptist Church, having gone there since she was a child. Beulah was a lady who worked hard all her life. She worked with her husband, Arnold, running a general store and post office in Edgett's Landing , she taught at Oulton's Business College, worked at Blue Cross and last worked at T.P. Downey & Sons. She enjoyed sewing and was a talented seamstress, she enjoyed quilting, reading and spent many hours studying genealogy, she knew everyone in her family tree. Beulah always had a smile for everyone she met. She will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends. "What we keep in memory is ours forever." She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Joan Nelson, of LeBlanc's Nursing Home in Salisbury formerly of Moncton; son, Herbert Nelson, of Spencer's Memorial Home formerly of Edgett's Landing and his wife, Carol (Rossiter) Nelson, of Edgett's Landing; her four treasured grandchildren, Kim Melanson (Leo), Denise Tingley (Howard), Troy Nelson and Aaron Nelson (Cathy); eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and half-sister, Eileen Nelson of Forest Dale Home. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband , Arnold Nelson, second husband, Hilliard Beaumont; son, Philip Nelson; brother, Harry; sisters, June and Iris; half-sisters, Della, Kathleen, Hettie, Mary, Beatrice and Viola; half-brothers, Roscoe, George and Hedley.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8th, 2011 at 1:00pm at the Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Alcorn officiating. Following the service the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further fellowship and for refreshments. Interment will be held in the Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, Moncton, NB.
