CAMERON, CAROLYN R. “Aunt Caroline” - 94, of Spencer’s Island passed away Monday, December 05, 2011at Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in Spencer’s Island, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Inez (Borden) Merriam. She is survived by sons, Randall (Elizabeth), Spencer’s Island; John (Marilyn), Halifax; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Reid in 1983; sisters, Thelma, Henrietta, Willena; brothers, Sydney, Clifton, Lawrence, Ross. A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2012 and details will be formally announced at that time. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
