AINSWORTH (WARNOCK), Marilyn J., R.N. – formerly of Halifax, died peacefully on Sunday, December 4, 2011, in Hilden. Born in Michigan in 1931, she lived most of her life in Toronto. After a long career as a registered nurse, she retired to Halifax to be near family. She quickly fell in love with the city and province and made it her home. Marilyn was the beloved mother of Jennifer MacNeill (Robbie), Brookfield; Christine Allard (Bill), Seminole, Florida; very proud grandmother of Leah MacNeill and Matthew Kolb. She will be missed by grand-pets, Kenzi, Storm, Marty, Rocky, Eliza. The family sends fond wishes to Trish and Gerald Ferguson of Halifax for being the best landlords ever. The family would also like to thank all of the staff at Williams’ Country Home, especially Shirley and Donna, for their care, compassion and support. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where the funeral service will be held 4 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2011, Reverend Brian DeLong officiating.
