Passed peacefully away at her residence in Tors Cove on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011. Loretta (Laura) Walsh, age 77 years formerly of St. John’s. Predeceased by her first husband William Clarke and second husband Charles Walsh; also by her parents Jack and Margaret Janes, one brother, Jim Janes (Bertha) and two sisters Helen Hanrahan (Louis) and Betty Smith. Leaving to mourn her four daughters: Loretta Pynn (Philip), Shirley Grouchy (Gus), Charlotte Murphy (William) and Peggy Walsh (Craig Harding); her thirteen grandchildren: Eddy, Gerry, Felicia and Philip, Billy, Laura Lee, Gussie, Sarah, Kyle, Billy, Jennifer, Charlie and Faith; her eight great-grandchildren; two brothers; Edward Janes (Mildred) and Cyril Janes (Triffie); special family friend Debbie Summers and family; also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, December 9th, 2011 from 12 noon – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 10th at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church with cremation to follow.
