Michael Wayne Patton

Patton, Michael Wayne – 63, Brentwood, passed away suddenly December 9, 2011 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Sackville, NB, he was a son of the late Douglas and Evelyn (MacCallum) Patton. Michael was a lifetime truck driver and was proud of being a “million miler”. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He was especially fond of his pets, Peanut, Brandy and Boo. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Bettylou (Irvine); daughters, Christine Forest, Montreal, Karen Patton, Shubenacadie; sons, Michael (Linda), Whitby, ON, Darrell, NB, stepdaughters, Marlene (James) Humber, Ft. McMurray, Alta., Kathleen Boake, Brantford, ON, stepsons, Robert Boake, Truro, William (Anne) Boake and Michael (Katy) Boake, both of Brantford, ON, Jimmy (Karen) Boake, ON; sister, Patsy (Robert) Cavanaugh, Surrey, BC; brother, James (Pam), Truro; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by stepson, David Boake; grandson, Gary Boake. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12 from 1-2 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Ian Harrison officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
