Passed away peacefully on December 9, 2011, in her 94th year. Artist, pie maker, bridge player, mother and grandmother extraordinaire.
She was the last surviving and eighth child of HP and Caroline (Dingwell) Duchemin of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by husband David Lloyd Miller and son David Andrew Miller. Dearly loved by daughter Catherine Gallant of Toronto, Ontario, and grandchildren Belinda and Jeff Leishman of Jupiter, Florida, Matthew (Rachel), Carey and Adam Miller all of Toronto. She will also be fondly missed by nieces Marnie (Jim) Leefe, Bay Fortune and Florida; Janet (Jim) Hopkins, Truro, NS; Mary Lou (and the late Geoffrey) Payzant, Halifax, NS; Carolyn (David) Chipman, Halifax, NS; Jane DeVille, Ottawa, Ont.; and nephews, Parker (Carol) Duchemin, Ottawa; John (Erna) Duchemin, Sackville, NB; Richard (Trudy) Duchemin and Bob (Sue) Duchemin, both of Sydney, NS.
June died at Colville Manor in Souris, close to her beloved Abel's Cape where a memorial service will be held this summer.
