TRUDEL, HUBERTE “BETTY” - Huberte "Betty" Trudel, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Betty was born in Moncton, NB, on April 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Ladislas Cormier and Lina LeBlanc. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Trudel (Mario Grégoire) and grandchildren: Mathieu, Sébastien, Alexandre and Catherine Grégoire of Gatineau, PQ; her son, Mark (Odette Durand) of Pierrefonds, PQ; brothers: Omer Cormier (Georgie) and Jean-Paul Cormier (Geraldine), both of Moncton; sisters: Elva Bourgeois (late Emile) of Moncton; Louise-Hélène Pyke (late William) of Halifax, NS; Pauline Laverdure (Denis) of Montréal, PQ; sisters-in-law: Ann Cormier and Marie Cormier, both of Moncton; brother-in-law: Don Belliveau (Gloria) of Penobsquis, NB; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, René in 1963; her sister, Jeannette Belliveau (Don), her brothers: Hervé, Eric (Marie) and Arthur (Ann).
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (10:50). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption R.C. Cathedral, Moncton, on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
