We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Charles ‘Chuck’ Muise on Nov. 9, 2009, at New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends.
Chuck was born the fifth child on the fifth day of the fifth month 1960, in New Waterford to Fran and the late Alex ‘Goonie’ Muise. If you knew Chuck, he would always leave you smiling. He had a way of making everyone he knew feel special, whether it was a story, kind word or unselfish deed.
He was a member of St. Agnes parish. He had training in many areas, but excelled when doing appliance repair. He will always be remembered as a loving and caring son, father, brother and uncle. Chuck was a long-suffering Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Fran Muise; daughter, Tira; son, Adam and their mother, Marian (Young); sisters, Paula (John) MacIsaac, Victoria Mines, Ann Louise (Phil) Dade, British Columbia, Shelly (Billy) Petrie, Victoria Mines, Bernadine (Terry) Chaulk, Dartmouth; brothers, Glen, Sydney, Kevin (Pauline) and Bradley (Janet), New Waterford; many nieces and nephews, whom he loved and they will miss him dearly.
Chuck was predeceased by his father Alex ‘Goonie’ Muise.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday, Nov. 11) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Paul MacNeil on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. in the Parish Church of Saint Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue, New Waterford, with burial to follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Victoria Mines.
Family flowers only by request. A reception will be held at St. Agnes Hall, Convent Street, New Waterford.
