It is with broken hearts, that we Peggy and Jackie LeRoy announce the sudden passing of our only child, ‘Zachary Logan LeRoy’, 24, of Sydney Mines on Oct. 29, 2009.
Zach was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Sydney Mines. He was a graduate of Memorial High School and was employed with the Labourers Union Local 92 for the past six years. In his spare time Zach enjoyed boxing, weightlifting, basketball, baseball with his favourite time spent with his Dad at the movies. Zach will be greatly missed by all his friends, especially his close friends, Kayla, Chrystal, Erin, Jennifer, Ryan, Carrol, Wayne Michael, Ryan Gillis, Bo, Jeff Farrell, Johnner, Travis, Jason and Marcel Morrison, who he considered a brother.
Zach leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, who will miss him dearly.
Zach was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald LeRoy, grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Marsh, uncles, Barry Marsh, Edward Russell and James McKenzie.
Visitation was held at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, Clyde Avenue, Sydney Mines, Monday, Nov. 2, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. in Trinity Anglican Church with Rev. Peter Rafuse officiating. Burial in Tobin Road Cemetery.
Zach — no amount of time will ever heal the pain in our hearts today. Sleep with angels. We love you so much, Mom and Dad.
