HIGGINS, ROBERT - The death of Robert Gerald Higgins of Minto, NB occurred Friday, December 9th, 2011 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Chipman, NB he was the son of the late Lee and Theresa (Wield) Higgins. Robert was a member of the Minto Legion branch # 12 for 50 years. Survived by a daughter, Rebecca Richard (Ronald) of Fredericton, NB; two grandchildren, Ronald (Michelle) and Nancy (Jeff); two great grandchildren, Keisha and Patrick; a sister, Ramona Howells of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife Margaret Victoria (Holland) Higgins in 1993; a daughter, Anna Marie Higgins in 2010; a brother, Ed Higgins; a sister, Roberta Dasset.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Monday evening from 6 to 9PM and Tuesday from 12 to 1PM. Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, December 13th, 2011 from Minto Memorial Chapel. Interment will take place in the Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery, Marysville, NB at a later date.
