Mr. Ottavio Perri, born January 1, 1930 in Luzzi, Cosenza, Italy, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Kamloops, B.C. surrounded by his loving family.

Ottavio leaves to mourn, his loving wife and companion of 53 years, Assunta; his two children Silvana (Joe Pagnotta), Franco (Monique Miller) and his grandchildren Teresa (Nelson), Michael (Ashley), Marc and two great grandchildren, Anthea and Mateo. Also left to cherish his memory are his two brothers Francesco (Anna), Cesare (Ida) and his sister Ida, all of whom are in Italy and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy.

Ottavio immigrated to Kamloops on September 1st, 1965 with his family. He retired from working for the City of Kamloops in January 1994.

Prayers will be recited on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Reverend Father Fred Weisbeck will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Sage Valley Mausoleum.
