The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, November 9, 2009, of Annie Anne F. MacKinnon, dear wife of late Linus MacKinnon of Richmond, P.E.I. She is the daughter of late Maxime and Alice (nee Cormier) LeBlanc. She is survived by a son, Floyd, at home and a daughter, Cecilia (Leonard) Bell of Richmond, brother-in-law Henry Morvan, a special niece-in-law Paula Jackson (Real Vienneau) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Linus, in 1988, she was predeceased by brother Little Wallace, sisters, Edith Morvan, Adeline Hicks and others in infancy, brothers and sisters-in-law Arthur Bursey, Harold Hicks, Angela (Floyd Jackson), Bernard (Ella) MacKinnon, Gerald (Maureen) MacKinnon and little Angela MacKinnon and again others in infancy. She was a member of CWL and also president of Scottish Fiddlers and Ceilidh Dancers Association Inc. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home, Urbainville, until Friday, then to St. Paul’s Parish Church in Summerside for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Visitation shall be received on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Home Care Summerside Division shall be greatly appreciated. Interment will be in the St. Patricks Cemetery in Grand River.
